The Olympians are the twelve major gods and goddesses in Greek Mythology. The Pantheon was the ruler of all the other minor gods and goddesses, and also the ruler of the human beings on Earth. These dieties were often the main characters in most of the Greek myths.
The Olympians are:

- Ares
- Apollo
- Artemis
- Athena
- Hephaestus
- Demeter
- Dionysus
- formerly Hestia*
- Aphrodite
- Hermes
When the young Dionysus was born, Hestia gave up her throne and took care of the hearth on Mount Olympus.
